Installation of 130 charging stations at the Liège Office Center: an ambitious project for more sustainable mobility

Against a backdrop of energy transition and rapidly changing mobility patterns, Ardent Invest is strengthening its commitment to more sustainable real estate. With this in mind, 130 charging stations for electric vehicles have been installed in the underground parking lot of the Liège Office Center, just a stone’s throw from the Guillemins train station.

This major project, one of the largest of its kind in Wallonia, was carried out in collaboration with Polar Sun, a specialist in innovative energy solutions. It illustrates our determination to adapt our building stock to the concrete needs of companies and their employees, while anticipating market trends.

Over and above the technical challenge represented by such an installation in an underground parking lot in daily use, this project was carried out with a focus on performance, coordination and respect for occupants. Rigorous planning and ongoing communication kept the impact on building users to a minimum throughout the works.

In this video, Nicolas Paris, General Manager of Ardent Energy, and Cédric Bernard, Project Engineer at Polar Sun, talk about the challenges and behind-the-scenes aspects of this project.

This project is fully in line with Ardent Invest’s strategy of developing responsible, forward-looking real estate capable of supporting companies in their own transition.
